It has been another long two weeks without football thanks to another hurricane. What should have been the last regular season game is now the second to last game before "Super Monday." The Huskies traveled to PG to take on their rival Wildcats of SERMS. NE had home field advantage as well as a large crowd and a band for the first time, thanks to the PG Marching Band! As both teams entered the field of play, you can see the excitement as well as awe of all the athletes. It was a huge game due to the fact it was against our rivals. NE came out slow and didn't put the ball into the end zone until the end of the first quarter. They started to find their rhythm in the second quarter where they scored twice more. Coming out of halftime, your Huskies relentlessly attacked the wildcats and SE having issues with penalties gave NE another WIN, 42-0! It was another great TEAM effort by all and they are excited to host SAMS next Wednesday October 24 for the last home game of the season! Come out and support your NE Huskies on the road to Super Monday!
