NE Info @ 12.16.18

We have a lot to squeeze in before winter break begins at 12:55 on Friday, December 21st!

On Tuesday, December 18th, PTO will serve up the annual holiday lunch for faculty and staff.

Basketball v. South Asheboro Middle School will be at home on Tuesday beginning at 4:30.

Materials for parent review for the reproductive health unit will be available on Tuesday, December 18th in the media center between 5 and 7 p.m.

On Wednesday, December 19th basketball v. Uwharrie Ridge will be at home.  Our wrestling team will travel to Uwharrie Ridge.

On Thursday, December 20th we will make up the Randleman basketball game at home while wrestling will be at Randleman Middle School.

Music concerts have been rescheduled to the morning of Friday, December 21st at 9:30 (for 7th and 8th grades) and to 11:30 (for 6th grade).  We hope parents will join us in the gym!

After the break PTO will meet on Thursday, January 3rd at 5 p.m.  Advisory council will meet at 6 p.m. as well on the 3rd.

FBLA’s regional competition has been rescheduled to Saturday, January 5th.

Basketball will be at home on Monday, January 7th.  Wrestling will be held at Archdale-Trinity Middle School (1/7/19).

Please note this TENTATIVE change.  We anticipate the basketball game v. Southeastern (originally scheduled for last week) may be rescheduled to Wednesday, January 9th.  Wrestling would be away at Southeastern on that date as well.  We are working to confirm that at this time.

Please remember to take a look in lost and found tomorrow  (Monday, December 17th) if you are missing an item.  The boxes are overflowing and we must clear them.

On behalf of the entire faculty and staff I wish you the happiest of holidays!  After the break we’ll get back together on the road to success in the new year!

NE Info July 2019 This summer changes will be made to bus routes in our area. Because of those changes, district routing specialist Jamie Smith will be located in the Northeastern zone on select dates to communicate with parents about bus routes for next year. If your child plans to ride a bus during the next school year, please stop in and see Mr. Smith or give him a call at the assigned school location during the allotted time slot. Mr. Smith can double check to make sure that your child is signed up for bus transportation for next year. All parents of bus riders are urged to contact him so there will be no delay in your child’s transportation when school begins. Please note that Mr. Smith will NOT be at our open house in August so no routing specialist will be available for that event. Upcoming locations and times to meet routing specialist Jamie Smith: @ Providence Grove High School Tuesday, July 16 9 am - 1 pm Thursday, July 25 noon - 4 pm @ Northeastern Thursday, July 18 noon to 4 pm Tuesday, July 23 9 am to 1 pm and the final opportunity will be Monday, July 29 9 am to 1 pm Also, parents of rising seventh grade students, if your child has not yet had the state required vaccines to attend public school, please make an appointment with your child’s doctor to get that accomplished before school begins. The school nurse will need a copy of your child’s vaccination record. You may drop that by the school office (Monday to Thursday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm) or you are welcome to bring that when you meet your child’s teachers on Wednesday, August 21st between 11 am and 1 pm or 4 to 6 pm. As always, to keep up with the latest information please follow us on Twitter @ NERandolphMS and select Northeastern at if you have not already done so. We hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer, and please help us to be sure all is in line for a good start to your school year.
