NE Info July 2019 This summer changes will be made to bus routes in our area. Because of those changes, district routing specialist Jamie Smith will be located in the Northeastern zone on select dates to communicate with parents about bus routes for next year. If your child plans to ride a bus during the next school year, please stop in and see Mr. Smith or give him a call at the assigned school location during the allotted time slot. Mr. Smith can double check to make sure that your child is signed up for bus transportation for next year. All parents of bus riders are urged to contact him so there will be no delay in your child’s transportation when school begins. Please note that Mr. Smith will NOT be at our open house in August so no routing specialist will be available for that event. Upcoming locations and times to meet routing specialist Jamie Smith: @ Providence Grove High School Tuesday, July 16 9 am - 1 pm Thursday, July 25 noon - 4 pm @ Northeastern Thursday, July 18 noon to 4 pm Tuesday, July 23 9 am to 1 pm and the final opportunity will be Monday, July 29 9 am to 1 pm Also, parents of rising seventh grade students, if your child has not yet had the state required vaccines to attend public school, please make an appointment with your child’s doctor to get that accomplished before school begins. The school nurse will need a copy of your child’s vaccination record. You may drop that by the school office (Monday to Thursday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm) or you are welcome to bring that when you meet your child’s teachers on Wednesday, August 21st between 11 am and 1 pm or 4 to 6 pm. As always, to keep up with the latest information please follow us on Twitter @ NERandolphMS and select Northeastern at Peachjar.com if you have not already done so. We hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer, and please help us to be sure all is in line for a good start to your school year.
