I have a Bachelors of Education from Bluefield State College in Bluefield, West Virginia. I graduated with two majors. Secondary Education, both high school and middle school, in Social Studies and Physical Education. I moved to North Carolina and attended North Carolina A&T University to receive my certification in Learning Disabled. I also am highly qualified to teach middle school math. 


 I taught 6 years in West Virginia. Two years in an elementary school and four years at Gilbert Junior High School teaching Reading. I moved to North Carolina and started teaching in the Exceptional Children department. I have been at Northeastern Middle School since it opened. I have taught Reading, Writing, and Math at the middle school level for 16 years. I have coached as the head coach girls basketball and cheerleading. I have been an assistant coach in volleyball and softball.


I have been married 4 years. I have no children (except the children I teach) I live in Liberty, North Carolina. I love to read and I love to teach.
