Our Kindergarten Feast!
The Out of the Garden Project will host a Turkey Give-Away at the Out of the Garden Project Warehouse (Address: 300 NC Hwy 68 South, Greensboro, NC 27409) on Monday November 25 from 4:00 - 6:00. This distribution is intended for families with children in need of food. ALL families who meet this criterion are welcomed regardless of immigration status.

Our students had the opportunity to hear from local children's book author Renee Whitley today! She has written two books about the giraffes at the NC Zoo. She read aloud her two books as well as shared about her writing and research journey!
Congrats to our Go Far Team! They finished their season this past Saturday when they ran the Go Far 5K!
Kindergarten Veterans Day banner on Friday. Students made cards for veterans and families sent in hearts with the names of veterans in their family. We placed the hearts on the Y❤️U sign.

Today 5th grade painted pumpkins to represent different characters from our novel study Wonder. Each character exemplifies a different part of the overall theme of the story and how each of them play a part.
Students have had a blast using Sphero INDI cars in media classes this week! They are learning the building blocks of coding while solving a fun challenge!
